MUSTANG 2 REAR SWAY BAR BUSHINGS
The customer came to me with a problem; he wanted to install a rear sway bar, but parts for the car are hard to find. He found the sway bar, leaf spring/shock mounts, and old corroded sway bar link mounts from 3 different cars. My job was to build a sway bar link pivot, to do the job of the old corroded piece. My bushing has a grease fitting, with o-rings recessed into the ends to retain the lube. The long thin stud is to accept the bushing/sway bar/backup washer stack. The design, machining and welding was all done in house. End nuts are self tightening, and the main 5/8 stud, with the 3/8 stud, are hardened steel. The bushing itself is standard machinable steel.
