In the junkyard in PA when I bought her. There is a picture below, taken at Hershey one year, of an all original with a Firedome 276 c.i.( the original first generation Hemi for Dodge Plymouth Chrysler Desoto).
I went shopping and found a 1954 Hudson rear window, to give the car a '49 Merc look. The doors were sectioned and reversed for "suicide" swing. Top was chopped 4 inches. I grafted in a 1985 Monte Carlo front end, to accept the 350 SBC. Found a 1989 Lincoln Versailles 9 inch, with discs, for the rear. I rebuilt the original engine and sold it to a guy with a 30's truck in California. 1956 Packard taillights, with what was left of the quarter panel, were used for the back. I finished the quarters by rolling my own skin, and fabricating an inner wheelwell. I also fabricated the continental kit, so it would swing away to let the trunk lid open all the way. The car drove, bbut I never had the time to finish it further.
